On our way back from Simpson County, the hubby stopped at the Planning and Zoning Office for some information on another case. I sat in the car.
While sitting there watching cars and people pass by, I noticed shadows on the Church in front of me.
I love the way the cross was clearly seen in the shadow!

Such gentle shadows. Thanks for your visit.
ReplyDeleteOh, I like those - especially the shadows on the soft stone in the last one. Lovely! Isn't it nice how we can find the prettiest things, even while just waiting in the car :)
ReplyDeleteLovely architectural shots....
ReplyDeleteNice shadows on a lovely church. Love the shots! As an aside...I always have one complaint though...there always seem to be these HUGE power lines right in front of the churches, blocking these gorgeous structures! I take the shot anyway, then have to "clone" them out...but it is so annoying! I am SUCH a fan of underground utilities!
ReplyDeleteInteresting perspectives of this lovely church! Moving in from the street scene to the macro gives a wonderful sense of context! And love the touch of the cross shadow!
ReplyDeleteit's wonderful you took the time out of your busy day to notice the shadows...it's addicting!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful church and I love the shadow in that bottom photo!

What a lovely church!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you deserved to rest in the car with your camera. :) How nice that you photographed some neat shadows too.
ReplyDeleteThere's some kind of story brewing in my brain about churches being places of light, and yet shadows are lurking nearby...
