It has been uncommonly warm this week with temperatures in the upper 70s to mid 80s. Tuesday was a beautiful day with the sun shining brightly and I took advantage of that to look for shadows. I knew this would most likely be my best chance this week as the weather was predicted to be cloudy and stormy the rest of the week. (And it was.)
My husband and I were sitting at a traffic light when I noticed the lights on one of the buildings was casting circles on the wall.
As we drove just a little further, I noticed shadows of one of the surrounding buildings on the roadway. You can also see the reflection of the buildings in the windows of the Justice Center.
Pulling into our driveway I saw the shadow of our neighbor's Easter flag on their house.

You found some terrific shadows....it's fun going searching for the elusive shadows...and it amazes me the diverse images that we show off....I especially like the very symmetrical 'circles' from the traffic light.

ReplyDeleteOur daily travels bring us sp many shadows! We could never imagine the subjects that make great shadows - so with no preconceived shadows in mind as we leave our driveways, they jumo at us nonetheless. Excellent shadows!
ReplyDeleteMOM AND I LOVE SHADOWS TOO. YOU FIND SOME VERY INTERESTING ONES ON YOUR DRIVE TOO.

Interesting how street features may cast shadows that don't seem to exactly match the reality! And that makes the shadows intriguing! A great collection!
