Performed By: James Brown
1965 Album: I Feel Good (I Got You)
One of Brown's signature songs, and arguably his most widely-known recording.
The song, with almost identical tune and words, had first been recorded and released in 1962 by Yvonne Fair, one of Brown'r back-up singers, as "I Found You". Fair released several singles in her own right produced by Brown, none of which were hits.
Brown reworked the song three years later as "I Got You (I Feel Good)" and recorded it. The song was Brown's highest-charting song, peaking at number three.

So good, so good, I got you.
So good, so good, I got you.
So good, so good, I got you.
