Of course by the time I got my camera out and focused on my subject, the sun went behind a cloud and my shadow began to fade. I managed to get a pretty good picture after waiting a moment or two.
I took this picture while walking back to the office from the bank. I had seen the shadow in the archway several times while making this walk, so this trip I took my camera along.

Lovely shadows! The window and shadow almost seem a 3-D view of the arch. The outside arch leaves a fine shadow, too. Lovely, all!

ReplyDeleteTwo arched shadows...love it! Doesn't that figure...just when you take a picture the sun goes a bit! It's almost like a kid...when you go to take their picture they turn away :)

ReplyDeleteHaha! It's amazing how many times I've had the sun vanish behind a cloud by the time I've grabbed my camera. And of course the shadow vanishes right along with the sneaky sun.
