Thank God For Kids

So this is my first attempt at joining in on the Thursday Theme Song. It looks like a lot of fun, so I thought I'd give it a try. I hope you do too!

Thanks Annie for being our host, and I hope I do it justice.

If it weren't for kids have you ever thought,
There wouldn't be no Santa Claus

Or look what the stork just brought
Thank God For Kids.

And we'd all live in a quiet house,

Without Big Bird or Mickey Mouse

And Kool-Aid (or Dr. Pepper) on the couch

Thank God For Kids.

Thank God For Kids, there's magic for awhile

A special kind of sunshine in a smile

Do you ever stop to think, or wonder why,
The nearest think to Heaven is a child!

I am sure Thankful for mine!!

  3. I've never heard this song before and I love it. I have no kids but plenty of nieces and nephews and I love them all. It brings out the kid in me I guess...either that or I've never grown up. Anyhoo...i love all these photos. It brought a smile to my face that I'll have all day long. Mahalo for stopping by my playground. Much appreciated and this is the best :)
